My principal interests lie in the field of software engineering, data analysis, data mining and various interdisciplinary analytical methods. I have extensive experience in processing bioelectrical signals as well as extracting multifarious features from complex data sets using custom made software toolboxes. My primary plans are to build on the foundations of my PhD to further investigate physiological phenomena in conjunction with developing and using novel information-theoretical and analytical methods as well as implementing them in state-of-the-art software environments. As a qualified engineer in information technology I can link multidisciplinary knowledge together through my experiences in brain research, data mining and processing, and software development.
