Gold Track

Accelerator

The EIT Health Gold Track is a mentorship programme designed to nurture start-ups with great potential.

Through EIT Health’s Gold Track programme, selected companies will spend up to a year working one-on-one with a handpicked mentor, who is an industry expert, successful entrepreneur or seasoned investor.

Start-ups receive tailored, strategic guidance from their dedicated expert, as well as additional support from a network of other specialists. The milestone-oriented programme is designed to achieve ambitious goals within accelerated timelines.

Is it for me?

Start-ups in the scale-up phase that show promise of strong performance in future will excel in the Gold Track programme. Participating start-ups will be scouted by EIT Health’s regional Business Creation Managers. Those chosen to participate will be selected by an independent panel of high profile experts. Due to the high level and value of the support provided, this programme asks for a three per cent success fee if a start-up achieves a financial event of more than €3 million.

The journey

Gold Track is a highly competitive programme that offers customised strategic guidance to especially promising emerging companies, so they can identify and focus on their core competence and create a roadmap to succeed in the global market.

The programme consists of up to three phases of support, each lasting four months long, which means a start-up can receive as much as 12 months of support. In each programme phase, companies work one-to-one with their assigned project team, which includes a Champion from the Expert Council, a Strategic Lead, and a Programme Director. The team will also select additional hand-picked expert mentors and topic-matter experts to help with the start-ups’s customised roadmap. Weekly check-in meetings ensure that the company stays on track and that the ambitious timelines are met. At the end of each four-month phase, and before the beginning of the next, there is a Gold Track Workshop, which serves as the checkpoint to determine if the participating start-up qualifies to continue in the programme.
